I knew the Nobel Prizes were nothing but political when Jimmy Carter was awarded the Peace Prize in 2002, partly for negotiating the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty with N Korea. Within weeks of receiving the award, we were informed that N Korea had nuclear weapons. And Arafat's Prize?? You have got to be kidding me. Nobel (hopefully) has been spinning in his grave after those choices. (But maybe he was a Leftist and would have enjoyed the hypocrisy)

I approach economics with logic and common sense. I reason, how can you borrow and print money forever and expect a healthy and well-functioning economy. People like Krugman argue things like this with their charts and their statistics, but I just can't get past the basic illogic of it
