Any good and serious conservative should be embarrassed to be associated with Bob Smith in any capacity. The man who went Independent in a fit of pique because no one supported his White House bid, then returned to the Senate GOP when a Committee Chairmanship opened up. Who was just as bad a Chairman of that (Environment) committee than his RINO predecessor. Who endorsed Kerry out of spite because the Bush administration, CORRECTLY, supported Sununu over Smith the 2002 primary to save the seat from certain loss. Who moved to Florida and briefly ran for Senate there. Who is STILL foolishly suggested as a candidate by well-meaning imbeciles who don’t know any better, some of whom insisted to me that the liberal media invented the Kerry endorsement, because those are the kinds of mouth-breathers that Bob Smith attracts to his side.

He has apologized for endorsing Kerry, but only because he wanted to run for office as a Republican again (Senate last year).

Go away, Bob.

As for the other 2 “leaders”, O’Brien seems like a good guy with the political acumen of a turnip, another stellar choice. I don’t know anything about Wheeler or the others.
