By ‘we’ I meant the right wing collectively. I didn’t help empower this madness anytime in the recent past either.

Unfortunately our former brethren DID and today, refuse to take any responsibility although the blame falls on their shoulders entirely. It wasn’t Democrats demanding ‘lesser evil’ and it wasn’t us evil purist types. It was compromising gutless cowards that now can’t man up to their actions. and are already making excuses to cave again in 16.

Excuse me, cave isn’t the right word. Getting ready to help further destroy America in 16 with their excuses and compromise with evil.

I have to wonder about the "right" wing - I think our vessel of state presently has a left wing and another left wing. I was chagrined after the Garland, TX episode to see all of the so-called right-wing commentators trash Pamela Geller for exercising her 1st Amendment rights, and the 1st Amendment rights of others in the face of Islamic barbarism.

Was it "unwise" of her to do so? Yes, if you value "peace" over Freedom. But, of course, you will never have or keep Freedom unless you are willing to do what may seem to some to be "unwise" actions in the face of evil and tyranny.

Patrick Henry had it absolutely right when he stood up in the House of Burgesses and spoke the immortal words "Give me Liberty or give me Death!"

I wonder what the likes of Mitch McConnell and John Boehner would make of him?
