I have to wonder about the "right" wing - I think our vessel of state presently has a left wing and another left wing. I was chagrined after the Garland, TX episode to see all of the so-called right-wing commentators trash Pamela Geller for exercising her 1st Amendment rights, and the 1st Amendment rights of others in the face of Islamic barbarism.

Was it "unwise" of her to do so? Yes, if you value "peace" over Freedom. But, of course, you will never have or keep Freedom unless you are willing to do what may seem to some to be "unwise" actions in the face of evil and tyranny.

Patrick Henry had it absolutely right when he stood up in the House of Burgesses and spoke the immortal words "Give me Liberty or give me Death!"

I wonder what the likes of Mitch McConnell and John Boehner would make of him?

This bill is so good for Americans that we aren’t allowed to see it or know what is in it.

I guess they will just have to pass it into law to find out what is in it.

I don’t wonder a bit any longer. The right wing is no more right wing than my keyboard. Their actions show what they are. They come up with a billion and 5 (at last count) excuses for why a thing isn’t really a thing. A vote/support for an admitted Reagan hating liberal or two America hating republicans who CAMPAIGNED ON working WITH obama is an act of pure America loving conservatism! Thats nice. How much time exactly do you feel we have? Because the record CLEARLY shows each passing election the GOP adds more liberal members. And then they vote for Mitch and Jonbon to lead them. And defend their great leaders...who then promise to ;work with’ Obama. By the trend, eventually the GOP will become so far left they will end up on the right because in a spherical universe there’s simply no further left to go.

It’s not a lie. Anyone can track election by election the leftward shift in the GOP candidates. So simple logic says ‘These are not the droids you’re looking for”.

It was a cloture vote, not a vote for TPP.

Sadly the cloture vote is the only vote that really matters. These scum have fooled the voter for years by voting cloture then ducking the vote on the floor to say they voted agains it, or vice versa.

Remember back in the day when the Republicans drove Tip O'Neal crazy with special orders? They would always ask unanimous consent "To revise and extend my remarks, even to include extraneous materials." Meaning they could say the sky is blue then deny there is even a sky in their revision.
