About 1,000 Israeli Ethiopian Jews have held a rally in Tel Aviv to protest against institutional racism in Israeli society.
Monday night's march passed without incident under the watch of dozens of security officers, a police spokesman said. Demonstrators chanted slogans demanding "social justice" and "the arrest of racist police".
Ethiopian Jews in Israel have staged several rallies against alleged police brutality and racism in recent weeks, and some gatherings have turned violent as they clashed with security forces.
Earlier this month, a video of two police officers beating a black Israeli soldier sparked a massive protest by Ethiopian Jews, also in Tel Aviv.
The protest on May 4 drew thousands of demonstrators decrying racism and police brutality.

Spend hundred of millions to rescue and transport and educate and give housing and medical care. But it’s still difficult assimilating folks into society when they come from so vastly different a culture. Time will work to further improve things and especially as more of them learn how to make their way in society (We are mindful that Obama Soros and other enemies are still permitted, extremely foolishly , to agitate in Israel against Israel. The Jerusalem government really needs to look at this )

Israel’s ruling elites are secular Europeans, with all the benefits AND problems associated with that. Look around at American and see what importing indifferent Third Worlders into a First World socialist culture leads to.
Ethiopians have been protesting off and on again since at least the 1980s, egged on by Israel’s left wing. Many Ethiopians are not even Jewish, whereas Ethiopians who are religious Jews seem to have an easier time of it.
