I am on my way to Maine for the state's first gay Somali wedding. I want to give this awesome gay couple from Lewiston-Auburn a wonderful head start in their lives together. I figure .... O what ... about 50 yards?
Many of our Maine Somali refugees have really turned their lives around. Not one case of camel rustling for all of 2014! We're working on the goat buggery thing, but it's down a bit, too! At least the gay marriage thing is within the same species .... for now anyway.
Heck, this is not new. In the 1940’s my late husband came across a school mate having his way with a goat in a back pasture in Iowa. The guy said, “If you tell anyone I’ll kill you.” He told me in the 1960s in another state. The guy was white, protestant, straight (without a girl friend).
