That danger of taking Anbar is not threatening to capture Baghdad. Harassing fire at Baghdad airport can be quite devastating. However, the next ISIS move could be bypassing Baghdad, headding south to Basra where the major part of Iraqi oil is.
That oil is Iran’s, for all practical purposes. This is when Iran has to send an “invading army” to stop ISIS before taking the oil and besieging Baghdad by making it an island in an ISIS ocean. (Look at the map)

ISIS released about 100 prisoners from the counter-terrorism detention center in the city.
Saed Hammad al-Dulaimi, 37, a school teacher who is still in the city, said: “Islamic State used loudspeakers urging people who have relatives in prison to gather at the main mosque in the city center to pick them up. I saw men rushing to the mosque to receive their prisoners.”
The move could prove popular with residents who have complained that people are often subject to arbitrary detention.
Sami Abed Saheb, 37, a Ramadi restaurant owner, said Islamic State found 30 women and 71 men in the detention center. They had been shot in the feet to prevent them escaping when their captors fled.
I've had that thought, too. If you were a Dem, and you wanted to have control of the government for 2 or the next three terms, you'd be better off dumping a bunch of crap in the lap of a GOP administration, then campaigning in 2020 by saying, "Look, things are terrible."
If instead you manage to win in 2016 as a Dem, you're likely to lose the next two terms, because you won't be able to keep all of the Obama stinkbombs from blowing up.

Kept the auto unions going making p/ups that would be given to the Caliphate. Don’t understand arming citizenry with our best, training them with our best only to see them drop their new armaments and run. Especially when their options are to surrender and be shot in ditches or hide until found and hung. Lots of things tell us they aren’t worth it from the top on down.
