I agree, but the 14th Amendment is played like a wild card. “Equal protection” means whatever most of the justices decide.

the 14th amendment nullified the Constitution,
and we’re now ruled by an oligarchy of 5 judges,

with the facade of a democratic republic to give them legitimacy.
