No one cheers more than me when one of the liberal media dinosaurs takes its last breath. But also nagging in the back of my mind is one little discordant note. For at least twenty years, I’ve been hearing (ad nauseum) the optimistic drumbeat of how technology is breaking the back of the liberal media monopoly and how it will usher in a vibrant wave of conservativism as new voices break through, and eventually remedy the left-leaning list of the nation.

Yet, all I’ve really seen is the country exponentially rushing more leftward, and the populace as a whole becoming both vastly more dumbed down and more degenerate. The optimism of twenty years ago has hardly panned out, to put it mildly.

when you own education, who cares about the media?

it galls me to recall the things my children heard in public school.

one of a million examples- among people they honored in a hallway display during black history month was Hillary Clinton. I believe she was a senator at the time. More amazing than Hillary’s presence- was an astounding absence. This was during Condoleeza Rice’s tenure as SOS. Black history month with a nod toward Hillary and snub of Condi!! Can you even pretend to be objective after pulling a stunt like that?
