Correction, May 18: This piece originally misstaded that Jerry Hough was placed on leave after he made the racist comments. Duke University confirmed on May 18 that Hough was already on academic leave when he wrote the comments.
Slate: cast aspersions, then post a correction. Nice.
Also, great spelling there of "misstated." Did Slate's lawyers tell them to do that?
