Yeah, this is such crap.
Maybe if enough of us, repeatedly feed this pushback to the candidates, maybe they will throw it back in the faces of the drive-bys at an uneditable (debate) moment.
Although the candidates must already know what I stated, I suppose it’s possible that they are keeping their powder dry for that very reason, but letting the “big lies” go unchallenged allows the perception of “accepting the premise”
Maybe there is another mechanism (social media etc) we should deploy to get the truth thrown back out there.
Bray?
Watch this from the 7 minute mark, the ‘pedlar of jealousy’ was being discussed on Forbes on FOX Saturday morning;

John Tandy “What a tragic world he would bring us to if he got his way”
From Wikipeadia:
Those democrats voting for the resolution are:
Sens. Lincoln (D-AR), Feinstein (D-CA), Dodd (D-CT), Lieberman (D-CT), Biden (D-DE), Carper (D-DE), Nelson (D-FL), Cleland (D-GA), Miller (D-GA), Bayh (D-IN), Harkin (D-IA), Breaux (D-LA), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Kerry (D-MA), Carnahan (D-MO), Baucus (D-MT), Nelson (D-NE), Reid (D-NV), Torricelli (D-NJ), Clinton (D-NY), Schumer (D-NY), Edwards (D-NC), Dorgan (D-ND), Hollings (D-SC), Daschle (D-SD), Johnson (D-SD), Cantwell (D-WA), Rockefeller (D-WV), and Kohl (D-WI).
I've highlighted those who are either in office still or have/had political ambitions to this day. If they rail against the Iraq War, they are dirty, lyin' hypocrites.
Well, they are already, but you know what I mean!
Means I see through all their ploys and comments to the contrary.
A very few of them--but not enough--are blatantly forthright about it.
They have constructed a Pinocchio world built on lie after lie.
But they were lied to according the the Marxist media. They were riding the Patriotic wave for the first and last times in their lives. They had to pretend they liked America and George Bush.
moreover, they probably think, despite the dismal results, those votes were an effort well made.
To a democrat (in politics or the in media), a well-meaning Leftist ideal ALWAYS trumps the actual results.
Case in point:
In the April 16, 2008 Democratic presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, moderator Charlie Gibson and Obama had the following exchange (courtesy of ABC News). Video is available here courtesy of the Say Anything blog.
GIBSON: All right. You have, however, said you would favor an increase in the capital gains tax. As a matter of fact, you said on CNBC, and I quote, "I certainly would not go above what existed under Bill Clinton," which was 28 percent. It's now 15 percent. That's almost a doubling, if you went to 28 percent.
But actually, Bill Clinton, in 1997, signed legislation that dropped the capital gains tax to 20 percent.
OBAMA: Right.
GIBSON: And George Bush has taken it down to 15 percent.
OBAMA: Right.
GIBSON: And in each instance, when the rate dropped, revenues from the tax increased; the government took in more money. And in the 1980s, when the tax was increased to 28 percent, the revenues went down.
So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?
OBAMA: Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.
We saw an article today which showed that the top 50 hedge fund managers made $29 billion last year -- $29 billion for 50 individuals. And part of what has happened is that those who are able to work the stock market and amass huge fortunes on capital gains are paying a lower tax rate than their secretaries. That's not fair.
And what I want is not oppressive taxation. I want businesses to thrive, and I want people to be rewarded for their success. But what I also want to make sure is that our tax system is fair and that we are able to finance health care for Americans who currently don't have it and that we're able to invest in our infrastructure and invest in our schools.
And you can't do that for free.
OBAMA: And you can't take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children and our grandchildren, and then say that you're cutting taxes, which is essentially what John McCain has been talking about.
And that is irresponsible. I believe in the principle that you pay as you go. And, you know, you don't propose tax cuts, unless you are closing other tax breaks for individuals. And you don't increase spending, unless you're eliminating some spending or you're finding some new revenue. That's how we got an additional $4 trillion worth of debt under George Bush. That is helping to undermine our economy. And it's going to change when I'm president of the United States.
GIBSON: But history shows that when you drop the capital gains tax, the revenues go up.
OBAMA: Well, that might happen, or it might not. It depends on what's happening on Wall Street and how business is going. I think the biggest problem that we've got on Wall Street right now is the fact that we got have a housing crisis that this president has not been attentive to and that it took John McCain three tries before he got it right.
And if we can stabilize that market, and we can get credit flowing again, then I think we'll see stocks do well. And once again, I think we can generate the revenue that we need to run this government and hopefully to pay down some of this debt.
So we see that with Obama, it's not about growing the country's economy and people becoming better off, or even increasing tax revenues to the government, but rather a question of FAIRNESS.
HIS perception of fairness is screw the rich.
Sounds like we need to have Professor Rachel Maddow or Professor Jon Stewart or Professor Bill Maher explain the real situation to us. (By the way, 2 of those people admit they are or were comedians. Quick, which ones?)
Amtrak is a train wreck and should be shut down. A private service would take its place if it is viable.
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train !
I was tracking down a lead on how hillary and Yoko Ono having an affair when I spotted this one. Its a a few years old but still relevant.
Looks like the dems want us to go from one homo to another.
Guess what bubba said is true that hillary has had more tail them him!
Seems she's bi sexual and probably more inclined to gals. Seems huma was a present for the Saudis, bedmate and spy.
Actually, Amtrak got 1 and a third BILLION. Just like the rest of the Obama "stimulus", it was wasted.
YEah that’s the one I had in mind...LOL!You guys never miss a beat!!
Private sector buses, they could use the highways AND ride the rails.
They could call it AMBUS...
(Nah, looks too much like ambush)
Gotta run im beat from a 3,000 mile week.
Now all we need is for our candidates to actually READ this. Of course, they also need to understand it and be able to articulate what it’s saying.
I was there enforcing that NFZ back while on duty.
Al Qeada got it start and heavily recruited by declaring the “Holy Land” (Saudi Arabia) as being occupied by the Crusaders. Blowing up Khobar Towers was just one result.
It would have been far better had we disposed of Saddam on 25 February, 1991, when we had the chance.
George H.W. Bush screwed up because he listened to Colin Powell who was all flustered by the “Highway of Death” media videos. I was there in the Pentagon when that happened. We were this close (holds finger and thumb almost together) to forcing his abdication at least.
How many seconds do you think it would take Greyhound to roll some buses into the Amtrak station, once they heard it was kaput?
Obama lost the Iraq war and failed to adhere to his red line on Syria. He screwed up on the handling of the Arab Spring. Now we have ISIS spreading throughout the region including North Africa. The blame squarely rests on Obama and Clinton.
The MSM are jumping on Bush and the other Rep candidates. They want them to say that going into Iraq was a mistake. It fits the liberal narrative about America and its flaws. The reality is that Obama made the most egregious mistake and is not being held accountable by the MSM or the Reps. Disappointing.
