Bill Maher spoke with Ayaan Hirsi Ali tonight about a recurring topic of his, radical Islam, and spent quite a lot talking about liberal reactions to it. Maher brought up how liberals have targeted Hirsi Ali and may have also had the Muhammad cartoon contest on the brain when he asked why so many liberals, who normally “hate blaming the victim,” do so when it comes to radical Islam.

As a (soon to be former?) American liberal, Bill Maher is in a much better position to answer that question than Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Still, it is helpful that he brought it up.

Because they are evil. Not hard math Bill Barbie Doll. They need to be fenced in on a land mass outside the North American continent and left there before getting us all killed.
Bill Maher doesn’t get it right very often but he does on islam.
I don’t agree with him on much but I will give him credit for being honest with his opinions.
It’s simple, follow the money. It normally leads back to where we’ve been buying our oil for the last 70 years.
What has happened to Bill Maher ?
Lately he has been having these random outbreaks of sanity and lucidity.
Dennis Prager wrote about this in his 2012 book. The liberal-secularists see Islamo-Fascists as allies against the Judeo-Christian world view, because that side is just as eager to turn down the Judeo-Christian group as them while providing a “we don’t really hate religion, look Muslims are with us” front.
They also reflexively side with Muslims as the perceived underdogs for the economic backwardness of Muslim countries, blaming the West for somehow oppressing it instead of realizing Muslims are the equivalent of lazy bums - poor because they don’t work, not because they are oppressed.

He realizes that Muslims will kill liberal atheists like him, and that the liberal fear that “tyranny will come wrapped in a flag and carrying a Bible” is a fiction but very true when it comes to Muslims, burkhas and Korans.
Maher is and will always be a liberal. Islam is incompatible with liberalism, but brain dead liberals don’t want to believe that. At least he is constant.
Yeah, I stopped caring whether he agrees with us occasionally. he’s garbage. More so since he insulted Palin’s kid. What kind of a man does that?

Liberals will choose security over any freedom every time. They don’t want murderous people to be upset with them. And anyway the people the mussulmans wish to silence are the very same people that liberals wish to silence so it’s no big deal.
