A glitch in a Russian space launch may have sent part of a rocket and its payload -- a satellite -- plummeting down onto southeastern Siberia, according to Russian state-run media reports. It is the second space mission failure for the Russian Federal Space Agency, Roscosmos, in less than a month. And the mishap occurs on the anniversary of a similar loss in 2014.

We’ve got a space program too.

It involves the space between NASA administrator’s ears.

Talk about a vacuum.

I hope it doesn’t hit an Amtrak train, or we’ll have to listen to another week of “Those mean Republicans won’t fund our infrastructure”

They’ve Lost Another One?

Russia has always been known for quantity over quality.

...

We’re about to jump leaps and bounds over the Russians and everybody else with partial privatization. We’re already there with unmanned launches. And manned launches are within two years of happening.

SpaceX just had a successful pad abort test a little over a week ago.

SpaceX wouldn’t be nearly this far along if the Russians hadn’t tried to get Musk drunk and steal all his money when he tried to buy rockets from them. Thank you Russians.

The Shuttle was a dangerous and expensive dinosaur that went well past the time it should have been retired.

“Preliminary data indicate that the third stage and the Mexican satellite may fall in the Chita region. “The emergencies ministry has been notified,” Interfax news agency quoted a space agency source as saying.

A major setback for the Mexican Space Agency. Who knew they had one.

“Russia has always been known for quantity over quality.”

True, but quantity has a quality all its own.

0bamie would send a humongous crane that would destroy your street, drive and yard, saw down any trees and leave you with a large mess.

Years later, after 0 purchased it for $1.98 scrap value, Mrs0 sells it for mega bucks; because the secret service agents did such a poor job of cleaning it.
