A passenger traveling along the same route the night that Amtrak Train 188 derailed in Philadelphia told NBC News that an object hit his train, shattering the window.

The account from Johns Hopkins student Justin Landis makes him the third person to report a projectile hitting a train Tuesday night in that area, and comes a day after the National Transportation Safety Board said investigators were working to determine whether something struck the doomed Amtrak train before it derailed. Eight people were killed and about 200 others were injured in the accident.

The media started protecting the Engineer as soon as they found out he is a gay rights activist who has been around the country promoting “Gay Marriage” if this guy had been a Conservative the headline would have been “Tea Party Extremists kills 8 people In Train Derailment” instead the media has been kissing his fanny

He could take a lie detector test, but even if he failed he can always claim its from the concussion..he might have memory loss, he might not..its the easiest excuse in the book “I dont remember” how do you prove that someone doesn’t remember

no one can prove a negative as far as I know.

his childhood? friend has now weighed in. with the “news” that he was a very safe driver in those years who would never think of exceeding the speed limit. Isnt that special?

He is one of their own. Yes.

Even if he’s found to be culpable...we may not hear anything.

Id like to know how long it took to get from 60 or 70 to 106 mph with that train. I think a lot of us would.

The media has already turned him into a hero “He loved trains” how about those posts where he goes on and on about train safety..CNN said “It proves that he really cares about train safety” LOL didnt the Germingwings pilot also care about airline safety, had dreams about planes crashing..what a pair

I just want to know ONE thing and if that one thing can be proven..the jump from 50 to 106 miles per hour, can they prove if that was done manually or not..if it was done manually it shows he did it on purpose..just like with Germingwings how the pilot manually put in 100 feet

Well covered. Even a video.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/14/us/philadelphia-amtrak-train-derailment/

...They don’t know yet what caused the train to accelerate to more than 100 mph. Sumwalt said 65 seconds before the end of the recording, the train speed went above 70 mph, and then steadily increased...

the Germanwing’s pilot...may end up being this rube’s albatross... Achilles heel, and finally lead his Waterloo.

Anyone who followed that fiasco ought to remembers enough detail to able to do a fairly decent profile or Mr Train Boy.

Its hard to keep in mind that even though he didnt drive the train into a Building or the side of a mountain that people did indeed DIE as a result of his antics.

The stupid SOB had a career involving the DC National Guard, and two or three other police departments after the sniper incident. I think he’s retired, now.

Moose was Police Chief of Montgomery County during the sniper incident. Baltimore is two counties away.

Moose was a racist then and is a racist cop in hawaii now. His racism and faulty judgement was responsible for several deaths. What an affirmative action loser.

While an issue, it seems that they are trying to use it as a diversion to lessen their vulnerability to payouts for those killed and injured.

Per an engineer who had "encountered several cars on the tracks" in his time, he never felt the collision due to the mass of the engine.

It'll be interesting to see where this goes...

According to the Warren Commission Report, the train was struck by a magic rock which shattered the windshield, turned in midair and pushed the throttle forward, turned again and hit the emergency brake, then hit the driver in the head rendering him unconscious, turned once more and exited through the rear crew door. Google earth shows a small grassy knoll just before the turn in the track, just east of the knoll you can see a woman in a black burqua.
