When I was in SC recently I ate up the stuff and bought a few books at the Museum and Library of Confederate History in Greenville.
A couple of days later I was at The Citadel in Charleston for the cadets Friday parade. When the band struck up the National Anthem I placed my hand over heart and tried to choke back the tears which always seem to come when that melody takes me through the sweep of American history.
...Cause there aint no doubt I love this land. God Bless the USA!
...And the CSA too. God, I love Dixie!
Apparently, many 'northers' agree, judging by the number of Penske/U-Haul trucks heading down I-81 or I-95 at any given moment. (Note you RARELY see them headed the other direction.) I can't wait to get back to Tennessee after wasting the last eight years of my life in pro-death, pro-sodomite soviet Red Hampshire. It might as well been a prison.
