Colt Python is sitting in the drawer of my desk here, absolutely love this thing and will keep it until I die.
Built back in the early 70’s when Colt was still on top of its game, far more accurate and reliable than I ever will be.

“... far more accurate and reliable than I ever will be.” I’m guessing you mean on the days it sneaks out of the house on it’s own for a day a the range?

When I was six, the first handgun I fired was my dads 1969 colt python 6”. Of course it was loaded with .38 special that he reloaded himself. I myself have a 4” stainless S&W 686p. It’s a great .357.

If I ever buy a revolver it will be a Colt Python.

I took several deer with a colt python before the tragic boating accident. Best pistol trigger ever.

I recently acquired a 4” nickel plated Python from that period. What a fantastic gun it is.
