Oculus Rift hasnt gone on sale yet, but Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is already imagining what future iterations of the virtual reality headset could look like.
During a Facebook town hall on Thursday, Zuckerberg theorized the Rift will lose its visor-like appearance and eventually resemble a pair of glasses. Facebook purchased Oculus, the company developing Rift, for US$2 billion last year.
Eventually, the headset wont need to be tethered to a computer to work, so people can move around freely while wearing it, Zuckerberg said.

From what I hear, Oculus Rift is going to change the world (from travel to work to education to, unfortunately, pornography).

Take the Occulus Rift and a 360degree treadmill and you are walking in a foreign world.
But walk straight when you’re in Paris (if that’s even possible), or else you’ll end up like Harry Reid.
Soon after that both partners will be wearing glasses.
And soon after glasses will come contact lenses.
You don’t have to walk straight.
Cool...that’s why I never bought a treadmill to begin with.
The would solve the obesity issue. get gamers off the couch.
