He'll die an old man on the taxpayer dime.

What a shame. Another shame is he'll be protected from inmates who might not take too kindly to him. Now he'll be in the headlines for the next 20 years with all the appeals he'll be granted. What a horrible reminder to the victims and their loved ones.

Naw, it’ll give him plenty of time to catch up on his reading the koran and love letters. Just think of all the demands he can make on the taxpayers - foot baths, prayer rugs, special diet, etc.

He’ll spend years in a cell like that, then MAYBE get the chair—or whatever they do in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty. But, unfortunately for Joker and for the preferences of the Massachusetts moonbats, this case was federal.

Joker is headed for a federal can in Indiana. Maybe they'll stick him in Timmy's old cell.

Just scanned the reader comments on the NYT article. I swear to God there is more shock and horror than when the actual bombing happened.

Just wait until the government decides to do away with the death penalty like they did in the 70s. Death row inmates got their sentences commuted to life which meant 45 years less good time so their jail cells were opened and they walked free. It was a matter of days that some were murdering and raping again.

And taxpayers will be paying for his *upkeep* for the rest of his miserable life. Heck, we’ll probably continue to pay for his family’s visitation rights.

I like your Amish attitude.

With plenty of pig fat also to make a nice splatter, right?

Timmy’s was a federal case wasn’t it? In Taxachusetts they have no death penalty. Obummer will pardon the little camel jockey and send him back to the desert before he ever gets snuffed for his crime.

I didn’t pay enough attention to know it was federal.

Cardinal Sean O’Malley—who presided at Ted Kennedy’s funeral and appeared at the funeral of Mumbles Menino—pro-abortion, pro-sodomy Mayor of Boston (he put sodomy instruction in the schools down t First Grade)—made a statement against the death penalty. I notice that all these bishops who FAIL to mention abortion on one occasion after another, NEVER fail to make a statement against the death penalty any time someone is on trial for a capital crime.

Yeh! Force him to load the autoclave ovens at a tuna cannery, and “accidentally” lock him inside.

The Left does NOT oppose the death penalty, only selectively.

True. It's okay to them to kill a living human being inside the womb, but NOT okay to execute a convicted serial killer.
