I’d vote for Perry before I would vote for Hillary.
Thats why America is screwed. Lesser evil. Stop doing that if you ever want to fix anything because the reason the GOP keeps putting Liberals on it’s tickets is they know people will fear-vote for them. Does no one understand incrementalism anymore?

Look. I think it’s clear that America needs liberalism, just a little slower than the dems would give it. No, it wouldn’t help anything or save anything or fix anything and in fact it would continue to shift the right further leftward. But A big chunk of Conservative Freepers are clear on this. They openly want the leftism Rick Perry would provide because...well BECAUSE! And just as clearly, you and those America haters like you are preventing them from getting the liberalism they have been screaming for and attacking people about for 6 years now.

Perry would've made a great President in 2012. I was a big supporter and it was painful to watch his campaign fall apart.
That was then though. Today, there's no momentum behind his candidacy and we already have a great field of younger, energetic conservatives.

Walker is my first choice. But Cruz is eligible, end of story.
If you wanna compare Cruz to Palin and say he’s not electable, ok that’s your opinion, I think he’s much stronger than Palin. But enough with this tiresome birther garbage, it just undermines your other arguments buying into that conspiracy BS. It was stupid when used against Obama (which is what these wild theories of what “natural born” means were invented for, they didn’t exist before 2008) and it’s really really f.ing stupid when used against Cruz (or Rubio or Jindal who are also eligible).
Rick blew it in 2012. People won’t forget the brain freeze.
