Cruz signed Norquist’s stupid tax pledge.

As have hundreds of candidates before him. But in your mind, that makes Norquist a Cruz advisor?

I would really like it if people would shun Norquist. A politician can be against tax increases without signing his pledge.

My understanding is that Norquist still runs his weekly meeting in DC where conservatives are expected to listen to him pontificate. That meeting should be boycotted. All of his organizations should be defunded.

If conservatives won't completely disassociate themselves from all Norquist activities then it tells me they are either bought or afraid.

That tells me that Norquist has too much power.

Maybe he's bucking to be some sort of sub-caliphate when all the pieces are put in place.
