One doesn’t need to accept baghdadis words only. Just take a look at islam & its history. It’s been mostly about waging war, using force. On those occasions when deceptive peace was declared, the islamics were in a weak position, but they still exerted pressure.
Individual muslims (nominal ones too) can believe anything they want. But one cannot dismiss history & facts on how islam mostly was brought to non-islamic lands. Even if some choose to rewrite history to suit their views.
Islam is like a bee’s nest or an ant colony.
It has different insects for different chores. It has worker bees, nurse bees, Queen bees and killer bees. The killer bees invade other nests and destroy other colonies.
