The University of Colorado-Boulder has launched an online system where students can report people who make “hurtful statements” — and it’s so intense that it even asks for offenders’ Social Security numbers. This “Bias Incident Reporting” system is intended to “address the impact of demeaning and hurtful statements as well as acts of intolerance directed towards protected classes,” according to the school’s website.

Well, if it does, there’s a lawsuit in Bolder’s future. Using SSN’s in this matter is contrary to Federal Law.

Every white male student at the school should complain about being “hurt” by statements made by every other class. Fill up the boxes to a point where they shut it down.

I’m over 40, which is a protected class.
It’s been fun, on a couple occasions, to cry “AGEISM” when younger Progressives use “ageist” terms like “fossil” and “out of touch”
this is beyond mildly stunning.
They’ve actually come right out and admitted the existence of what we’ve been calling the Protected Classes for years.
Are they really trying to stamp out “ageism”? I thought the wisdom of that was reconsidered and it was legalized some time ago. (But my memory’s not what it used to be.)
I worked at a Big Four accounting firm and was forced to watch some crappy HR management videos about dealing with "problem employees". There were bad-acting videos of various scenarios and how you have to deal with various employees from various protected classes doing bad things (stealing, fighting, absentism, etc.) and all the ways you should try to get them to behave better.
The last scenario featured Bob, a white guy showing up late all the time. It was the shortest scenario. I could not believe the official HR video stated something like, "as a heterosexual, white male, Bob is not a member of any protected class. You should terminate Bob's employment with the company."

I foresee many lawsuits for defamation, slander, libel, harassment, emotional distress, etc. Lots of work for Colorado lawyers in the pipeline!

Actually, their complaining will expose the silliness of this exercise. A university needs white male students to pay for everyone else. Lose them and you might as well shut down the school.

“They talk about “white privilege” but it’s okay to have “protected classes”? And these are the same people who insist that everyone is “equal” and it’s evil to “discriminate.”
After years of watching these kinds of things go on and on, the message I have received is that anybody who is neither white, nor male is capable of achieving anything, or contributing a single thing of value to the earth. All non white, non male, must be treated as babies, they can not be expected to learn to read or write, or do math or science, though they must be given free admission to any place of “higher learning” of their choice but not be expected to perform or take any kind of class that might have the slightest chance that later in life they may contribute something of value to society. While in college, they will be insulated from any rigor or testing, and only socialize with student social and government groups of their own ethnic background in the name of diversity, whose sole purpose is to make sure nobody has a taco night, or accidently serves fried chicken somewhere. After spending 6 years learning nothing in classes specially made for not learning anything of value, they are discharged then given do nothing jobs in the government, while on a wait list for invitations to burn down cities, and the multi state bus rides with free liquor and cigarettes on election day. /rant off
In all fairness they should record the ss#s of the whiners and track them for all the complaints they make.
