Former New York Gov. George Pataki said Thursday that he will announce at a May 28 event in New Hampshire whether he will run for president.

Pataki said he was not worried about the increasingly crowded Republican field of candidates.

“I’ve learned early on that you can’t worry about what you can’t control. You can only control your ideas, your vision and how hard you work, and that’s all I’m worried about,” he said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Makes sense. This bastard fits right in to the new Republican Liberal party. He's the son-of-a-bitch that took the support from pro-gun organizations all over New York State, to defeat Mario Cuomo, then promptly banned 'assault rifles' within months of becoming governor.

He'll fit right in.

Watch the Huckster, Jeb, and Rubio get all the questions and time. Cruz will be put on the far end and get one question with a 15 second response window.

He must not be being nominated to join enough enough corporate board of directors so he runs for Prez to make boards think he is important and has the gravitas they want on their board - total sham wow

Pataki is currently running television ads in soviet Red Hampshire pleading with Republicans to ignore social issues like abortion and sodomite marriage because they only serve as a ‘distraction’...some BAD ‘juju’ in the northeast water supply.

Run RINO run, then Jeb, Lindsay Graham, he, Snyder, Kasich, others can dilute the GOP-e money and vote share.

Paging RINO Rick Perry. Dude your running out of clean weeks to announce. You still have Lindsey and Pete King, if your not on the page one of the ballot you will never get a vote.

[[The debates are going to be fascinating.]]

Mmmm- fascinating hearing one candidate after another tickle the ears of people- telling them what they want to hear- then turning around and not delivering on what they promised- (I’m sure some will mostly deliver on what they promise- but my point is that the debates are going to be nothing more than people begging for the job- telling us what we want ot hear- when the reality is that words are cheap- and actions speak louder than words- their political records speak for themselves- their promises are moot IF their records show that they would actually do just the opposite of what they claim)

I’m not interested In their debates, I’m interested I n their records to date-

Pataki.
He saw the Huntsman results in NH in 12 (3rd place) and figures he can tap into that crowd. Geography not necessarily an advantage NY-NH.

I don’t think he is a good match. Not sure yet where that crowd is going. They were serious about Huntsman as an attempt to injure Romney. Whom they despised ... saw him as part of the Boston GOP crowd.

They were with Lamar in 96 and then McCain locked them up twice.

Kasich will crowd out Pataki in NH.

interesting that both of them are big time “ethnics”.
Weird that Kasich became Anglican.

I doubt even George Pataki’s mother thinks he should run for President.

Do something useful and run for Governor again, or Senate (like you should have).

If he takes votes from Jeb in NH, GOOD.

no, it is the Jeb haters that will vote for him. yea, often, the real people are not the ones in newspaper articles or CNN stories.
all non-conservatives are not establishment voters. besides, Bushes are hated in NH. hated.

Walker might get some, but this crowd is somewhat isolationist and anti-religion and hates to Sununu crowd.
Walker might struggle with them ... I predict Kasich makes it happen in NH.

walker
Paul
Rubio ??
Kasich
Cruz
Bush
Christie

that is my current handicapping for NH. But Rubio, not sure how he will play there. best Rubio area would be the anti-Bush suburbanites in eastern NH. the 3 main counties.
they are not as isolationist in the suburbs.
