Vatican to Recognize Palestinian State in New Treaty
NY Times ^ | 05/13/15 | GAIA PIANIGIANI and RICK GLADSTONE

ROME — The Vatican said Wednesday that it had concluded a treaty to recognize Palestinian statehood, a symbolic but significant step welcomed by Palestinians but upsetting to the Israeli government.

Formal recognition of a Palestinian state by the Vatican, which has deep religious interests in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories that include Christian holy sites, lends a powerful signal of moral authority and legitimacy to the efforts by the Palestinian Authority’s president, Mahmoud Abbas, to achieve statehood despite the long paralyzed Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

Israel has grown increasingly alarmed about the increased international acceptance of Palestine as a state since the United Nations upgraded the Palestinian delegation’s status in 2012 to that of a nonmember observer state. A number of European countries have also signaled their acceptance of Palestinian statehood.

This “Pope” is an idiot. His election was as tragic as that of the maniac in the White House.

I am not catholic nor do I bash anyone’s faith or religion (accept for real kooks or muslims), but I really don’t like this move. It gives the Pali’s undeserved credence without their having to do anything in return for it, like maybe at least recognizing Jews right to exist.

The end of September is looking to be when the wheels fall off and the first seal of Revelation will be opened.

As a Protestant conservative, I Wish he would also. But he won’t. He was Brought up spiritually in the Marxist contaminated, ideologically challenged liberation theology movement.

I wish we had Pope John Paul again, or Benedict. According to the Prophecies of Saint Malachy, this is Peter the Roman, and that is ominous for all of Christianity.

The best Israeli response. Background.

“The Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Jerusalem): Christianity’s holiest place, this church covers the traditional sites of the crucifixion, entombment, and resurrection of Jesus. Built about A.D. 330, the complex is carefully divided among the Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Armenian Orthodox, Coptic, Syrian, and Ethiopian churches.”

Because of the Vatican recognizing the Palestinian state, asserting that land they do not own should change hands, Israel now concludes any Roman Catholic claim to any area within The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, likewise ceding any time they are currently allowed to perform religious ceremonies within.

Thereby the Vatican also loses land and its use that they did not own, that they may understand the unilateral loss.

Israel now recognizes a new division within the church, between the Greek Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox, Coptic, Syrian, and Ethiopian churches, and expects that they will cordially accept those places and times previously reserved for the Roman Catholic church, now forfeited.

Of course, this decision can be reversed to the old status quo, if the Vatican decides that it acted in haste.

Now there is no doubt. The “Vatican” is against G-d. Evil wears many disguises.

There Was Never A Country Called Palestine
http://www.targetofopportunity.com/palestinian_truth.htm

If you consider Palestine to be a “Sovereign” and “Independent” country that goes back through most of recorded history as many would have you to believe, then a few questions need to be answered:

•When was it founded and by whom?
•What were its borders?
•What was its capital?
•Who was the President?
•What was its form of government?
•What were its major cities?
•What constituted the basis of its economy?
•Who was the Palestinian leader before Yasser Arafat?
•Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation?
•What was the language of the country of Palestine?
•What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine?
•What was the name of its currency and what was the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, GB pound, or Japanese yen on any particular date?
•And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?
