Wonder what he was doing while his train was speeding along at 106.
Are AMTRAK engineers allowed to phone and text?

What I'm wondering is wouldn't the train have an audible warning for excessive speed? So if the engineer was dozing, texting, talking or whatever he would be aware of going too fast?
I know it was an old engine but it only makes sense that there would be some audible/visual warning for excessive speed. Maybe it was broken or disabled....
