Let’s see if I get this right ...

I pull my kids out of public schools, and pay for them to attend private schools.

But I still pay the same taxes that go to fund the public schools.

So the public schools get revenue from my tax “contribution” without having expenditures for teaching my kids.

Seems like a win-win. My kids get the education I want to provide them while the public schools end up with a higher $$$ to student ratio.

So, if more kids in private schools ends up benefitting the public schools, what is Obama’s problem here?

(that’s a rhetorical question, btw)

Obama is sort of hinting at a truth, but is too fearful to state it outright.

As you stated, conservatives who send their kids to private schools do no financial harm to those left in public schools and as you pointed out actually increase the funds available per student for those still attending.

BUT, what he is not explicitly saying is this:

When conservatives put their kids in private schools.. they stop caring about what the public schools actually teach to the children remaining. The result is public schools that only teach PC crap about global warming, white privilege, martin luther king, and joe’s two dads.

But he will NEVER say that.
