That is a great image.
Looks like the train was going too fast for the track and went off at the tangent of the curve.
The final cars ‘z-up’ on the track because they stay connected to the crashed cars up front, but are going slow enough to stay on the track - having been braked by the crash up front.
Why was the train too fast for the track? Was the track damaged? Was the engineer negligent - or perhaps too busy being shot at by local Amish?

Over 100 mph. I’ve been on high speed trains, over all I felt secure. Though, if one were to crash, it does feel a bit like being in a tin can.
