[Iranian] Media Claims Israel Used Aid Mission to Nepal As Cover for Baby Trafficking

Israel used its humanitarian aid mission to Nepal as a cover for trafficking 25 Nepalese babies, two Spanish-language networks reported.

Iranian HispanTV and Venezuela's Telesur networks broadcast the reports. Telesur is the national public television channel in Venezuela, which is rebroadcast throughout Latin America on other public television networks.

HispanTV broadcast the original report, which quotes an unnamed NGO as stating that "Israel uses humanitarian help as a cover for trafficking of 25 babies in Nepal." Telesur picked up the report last week.

The report stated, correctly, that of the 25 babies that were taken to Israel, "15 of them were born through Tammuz, an Israeli surrogacy company which provides services to Israeli couples unable to bear children, particularly homosexual couples." The other babies also reportedly were born to surrogate mothers for Israeli parents.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center condemned the report.

"The 'Tehran-Caracas axis' even perverts humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters such as the Nepal earthquake, just as they had accused the Israeli medical mission of harvesting body parts in the Haiti catastrophe," said Dr. Shimon Samuels, director for International Relations of the Wiesenthal Center. "Through these Spanish-language television satellites, Iran foments anti-Semitism across the Americas, just as it sponsors global terrorism, slanders the Holocaust and pursues its nuclear program.

One year ago, Iran publicly announced a plan to increase its media influence in Latin America.

There’s no lie too ridiculous for the IRI to spread.

It's actually well-known, and acknowledged by the Israeli government, that many babies born to Nepali surrogate mothers, and their gay male parents/purchasers, were evacuated out of Nepal after the latest earthquakes.

You can look HERE (Links) for many, many links to these news stories, which were carried by the media around the world, including, prominently, Israeli media.

The main controversy, as I see it, is whether you can call this "trafficking." Maybe not in the legal sense, since the insemination-by-contract and the permanent transfer of legal parenthood from the birth-mothers to the gay guys, is legal both in Nepal and in Israel. But I think you can call it trafficking in the moral sense.

If they were babies who were going to be adopted by Israelis, then calling it ‘trafficking” is absurd.

Adoption is one thing, but surrogacy is a whole 'nother thing. If these kids were brought into existence on contract, and there was money exchanged, that is purchase.

How is this different from a buying a baby from its mother?

The babies are a commodity. No concern at all about preserving the benefits of maternal-bonding and the natural kinship network.

And it's illegal in, for instance, India, so the Israeli male homosexuals bring Indian women to Nepal, get them impregnated, sign the paper, pay the money, and fly back to Israel with the babies, where they will be permanently, and by design, deprived of the natural right and psychological benefit of mothering.

That's trafficking.

Didn’t the ‘media’ say the same things about Christian groups that rescued children from the Indian Ocean Earthquake and resulting tsunami’s ????

What about all the ‘children’ that OUR GOVERNMENT brought in from SOUTH and CENTRAL AMERICA ?????

I didn’t hear the ‘media’ complain about that.

Rightly understood, surogacy is the moral opposite of adoption.

In adoption, the adults are responding to the child's needs, in a disrupted situation which everyone known ought not to have happened. Adoption is adults trying to remedy the situation of a bereft child--- because the child's natural parents have died, or have gone missing, or have abandoned the child, or are unable to parent -- and the adoptive parents attempt to supply as many of the child's needs as possible, especially the need for a father and a mother.

Exactly the opposite is surrogacy, in which the contract purchasers deliberately PLAN and CAUSE the child to be conceived, born, and then bereaved of his natural parents --- they PLAN and CAUSE cause his deprivation --- and they set things up to meet the desires and wants of the adults, not the rights and needs of the child.

They explicitly intend for the child to be brought up either motherless or fatherless.

Even Elton John said it was "heartbreaking" that his surrogate-boy wouldn't have a "mummy" ---and then he and his "husband" went out and bought another one.
