Had a flat recently in my three month old 2015 car. Ran over something sharp
Had just purchased tacos to go on way to car line. 30 deg out. Highway.
A flat?
Pulled over. Called towing from my insurance company. They cane out one hour later after Fam and we had a good visit thanks Mexican road food
Guy Changed the tire. Advised me get out of the spare ASAP. Went to dealer. Lo. Had purchased tire deal. Watched jeopardy in wait room. Coffee Into new tire. Home by seven. Fam happy and safe
Total cost...annual premium + leased car with warrantee
Told girls, that’s how you change a tire
Been there done that. Nope
Years ago, while driving me back to college, my mom got a flat in the worst neighborhood of North Philly.
My father who was with us was dying of cancer and too weak to help, so my mom and I got the jack out and started to change it, when three black teens stopped their car, and offered to help. They changed the tire and left, after refusing a tip.
So stop making racial stereotyping.
I should note we were not suburbanites who trembled at the sight of three black teens, but inner city ethnics who treated them like we treated anyone.
See? It’s always Mexicans with flat tires on the side of the highway.....or people with Mexican food! :)
Had a flat once while driving in rush hour traffic out of Seattle...in the fast lane..with cement barrier on my left and 70 Mph traffic whizzing by on my right...this was in late 70s...no cell phones...no AAA...a nice Washington State Patrol officer changed it for me...hey...I was young and stupid...but attractive too
