Newsday’s well-connected television columnist Verne Gay recently reported that Williams was “almost certainly expecting a return to the anchor chair by this summer..."

Damn, went to high school with this guy. Always wondered what happened to him...and there he is, working for Newsday. Never heard of Newsday before today.
