Penelec is our power company. Rural Electric is just up the hill from us - near Creekside. Last night, just before the power went out, it sounded like lightening had hit something. It was LOUD!
likely hit the transformer. When we were in GA. we had one on a pole in one of our pastures, and you are right, sounds like cannon fire.
Mr sneaks wants to get a generator. I wouldn’t mind getting solar panels but that is really expensive, though price of solar is coming down.
He may have a generator, although from what I have read about tress down, the internet could be down also.
When we moved to TX last year, a generator was high on our list too. But too many things have needed repair or replace or build... tho here it would be propane which isn’t as good as natural gas. We have a wind turbine, trust me not worth much.
I can’t get 1250 to play, anybody else have problems?
