I think the answer may indeed be that you watch too many crime shows, and being a red head too may also play a part. (Before anyone jumps on me, I am joking - red/fire). I know fires are more yellow & blue than red.
Quail Ridge is a common name. I googled Quail Ridge fires and found that some of the fires were caused by wildfires, some were on streets named Quail Ridge and so on. From what I could see, it looked like a small number in reality for such a commonly used named.
