It prolly won’t happen due to safety concerns for him and his loved ones, but it would be interesting in learning a bit more about him; what makes him tick.

Especially how he developed his titanium spine.

I'd guess that when the perps suddenly jumped up and started shooting, he was already exposed. So he figured that if he ran for cover they'd just shoot him. Therefore, attack - including hitting his targets very accurately - was his only way to stay alive.

Which is all quite logical. However I imagine actually DOING it was just a tad more stressful than discussing it, especially since he probably had all of two seconds to figure all of that out, draw and start firing!

I have heard that he is a 38 year veteran who is 60 years old.

Sounds like a gun guy. I would not be surprised if he had a couple of shooting trophies on a shelf somewhere.

I now quite a few people like that, it is about the right age, and the model 21 Glock is pretty much a “gun guy” indicator.
