Still unclear whether the Garland traffic cop dropped them with his 45 ACP glock (head shots) or the Swat guys defeated their body armor with rifle rds.

No. If you look at the images, you’ll definitely see a SU2000. From the high res shot, I thought the 2nd rifle was a GSG AK22 based on the magazine.
The body armor looked to be EOD fragmentation type armor. That won’t stop a .45ACP.
The cop did the world and the gene pool a favor.
