Ten shootings were reported Thursday across Baltimore, continuing a spate of gun violence that began after riots overtook West Baltimore on April 27. At least two people died..
Just after midnight on Thursday morning, a 24-year-old man walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot. The victim told police he was approached by an unknown man who shot him in the 1200 block of E. North Ave.
At 8:14 a.m., police were called to the 2800 block of Elgin Ave. in West Baltimore, where officers found a 21-year-old man shot in the shoulder. The victim told police he was walking when a vehicle pulled up and a person inside shot him. The man was taken to an area hospital. His condition and a suspect description were not available.
Another shooting was reported at 4:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of Marble Hall Road in North Baltimore. Officers found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The man told officers he was sitting in a vehicle when an unknown suspect shot him....

“Of the five Baltimore CVS stores that were damaged over a nearly two-week span, the parent company committed Monday to reopening all of them, Cole said. The city has also launched a website designed to help other affected small businesses reopen.”
Looks like Obama will be cutting another Billion + dollar check to Baltimore, thanks to us few remaining taxpayers.

Every business is under intense pressure to pretend the ghettos are thriving hotspots of commerce (just as their school districts are under intense pressure to pretend it is possible to educate welfare bastards bred for cash with no parenting whatsoever); CVS will re-open “show stores” with low inventories to minimize losses, staffed by gibsmedats dressed as employees.
If CVS hadn’t stopped selling cigarettes (especially menthols) they wouldn’t have been burned; when they cut them off they became “white businesses”.

I would argue that the article depicts normal everyday life in Baltimore.
The difference is that the paper chose to actually write about it.

“Stop Snitchin” has been a “thing” in the urban black community for a long time, and in particular a popular DVD with that theme came out of Baltimore in 2004.

But yet we cannot talk about these factors that help explain why arrest rates for black males might be so high, just as we cannot talk about the fact that murder rates, among other crimes, are so high among black males. There is a subculture of violent criminal behavior that is accepted to some degree by the urban black community, or “Stop Snitchin” as a meme wouldn’t exist.
But again, of course you can’t talk about this topic forthrightly.
