Pretty near all of those entry-level jobs are going to be eliminated in the next 10 years by robotics. Why does the business class want to bring in millions more low-skill workers?

Here's what I don't get. Pretty near all of those entry-level jobs are going to be eliminated in the next 10 years by robotics. Why does the business class want to bring in millions more low-skill workers? It's all about class warfare and driving the cost of labor across the workforce down. Just because the majority of those bring brought in are low skilled now, doesn't mean they always will be. That's when we'll see even more competition for higher-wage jobs. That increased competition means businesses will be able to lower wages.
