Terror group ISIS reportedly has 71 trained soldiers, at least 23 of who are ready to carry out attacks in 15 states similar to the shooting on Sunday at a cartoon contest featuring images of the Muslim prophet Muhammad in Garland, Texas.
"Out of the 71 trained soldiers 23 have signed up for missions like Sunday, we are increasing in number," reads the warning, posted on a file-sharing site and attributed to Abu Ibrahim Al Ameriki, the moniker of an American believed to have joined a terror group in Pakistan several years ago. "Of the 15 states, five we will name: Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan."
Fox News reported that U.S. officials are looking into the threat, but believe it comes from a low-level militant rather than ISIS leadership.
The threat makes reference to Sunday's incident in Garland, where two terror suspects opened fire outside the Curtis Culwell Center, but where shot dead by a police officer after wounding a security guard.
The event was hosted by political blogger Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, in response to the controversial Islamic "Stand with the prophet" conference held at the same Texas location on Jan. 18 that featured New York-based Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was an alleged "co-conspirator" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.
The online posting reads: "The disbelievers who shot our brothers think that you killed someone untrained, nay, they gave you their bodies in plain view because we were watching."
ISIS, which has captured cities across Iraq and Syria and has been hit by airstrikes by the U.S. and a broad coalition of allies, claimed responsibility for Sunday's incident, and said that more attacks are to follow.

The Garland jihadis were wearing body armor and expected to survive long enough to kill some “infidels” so that’s islamobull.
Not often pointed out is that there were plenty of armed “infidels” inside the meeting hall and not all of them were cops. The two terrs wouldn’t gotten far.

In know for a fact that in VA and MI you will be met with armed citizen resistance that are big concealed carry states.

Good point. Remember our campuses, shopping malls, office buildings are “gun-free zones.” Nothing like putting a target on yourself.
Henry Waxman was squealing like a pig that there are enough 50 caliber rifles in Michigan for every county to have at least 1. That would be 83 of them but I suspect the actual number is more than 100.
Or putting the crosshairs on some Christian-owned private business in order to set some sodomite pitbulls on it.

I’d forgotten about that. But I’d bet the perps would turn their rifles onto schools instead. What better way to inflame and frighten than by picking off innocents? Parents would keep their children home and call out of work.

The islamists will target these “no gun” areas. They are cowards. They attack unarmed defenseless people. These ‘no gun’ zones are a target rich environment. Just walk up and start shooting with no resistance.

Easy to do in Virginia, Illinois, and Michigan ... California and (even worse) Maryland forbid their citizens to effectively defend themselves.
I remember the Beltway sniper time as well. And, much like today, the black Chief of Police of Montgomery County was insisting that it was white guys in a panel truck right up until the time the true perps were captured. He kept up that fiction right to the end.
Once caught, there was a jurisdictional discussion of whether they should be tried in Alabama, Virginia, or Maryland first. I remember a guy from Alabama calling in to one of the radio shows saying “Send them to Alabama. We’ll give them a fair trial and have them executed by the end of the week.” Funny stuff for a very unfunny situation.
One tip to ISIS. They don’t like guns in Berkeley and San Fran.
