Theres a fine line to be drawn between making a political statement and inciting someone to start breaking out the rifles and taking shots. So... that "someone" who decides to break out the rifle is the approval authority for what constitutes free speech. Got it.

Hustler magazine is 1st Amendment protected speech too. So is Klan cross-burning. Nice company she keeps. That is a narrow view.
It's a big umbrella.
She is also in company with millions and millions of patriots, humanitarians and just plain good people who exercised their 1st amendment rights dating back to 1791.

Not sure what Pamela did was very bright, but in a clumsy way, she did a great service to America:
1- she highlighted with great clarity what a clear and present danger ISIS and radical Islam is to America, and
2- she highlighted with great clarity what a clear and present danger the mainstream media is to America

So they want “Freedom”, but blame her freedom of speech as incitement to these wackos?
Typical liberal logic!

n addition to Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer is also taking a lot of heat, as evidenced during an interview on CNN, where Spencer was accused of setting bait and wanting violence.
...
I saw a CNN article last night that called it a “free speech event.” I was shocked.

I recall during the controversy about "Piss Christ" (the crucifix displayed in a jar of urine at a publicly-funded are show), the media treated Christian anger at the display as a sign of immaturity. Christians were told to "lighten up," to remember the sacredness of free speech, and to join the modern world in which a bit of offensive art is to be taken for granted and even celebrated.
They are sure singing a different tune now.

With every story like this, people are discussing and forming stronger and stronger opinions. Sides are being taken. People are being exposed. Battle lines are being drawn.
And it’s not just on this issue. It’s also happening with race relations, cops response to crime, etc.
The internet and social media are radically changing the culture. More and more people are getting off the fence and choosing a side on each issue. People are exposing their core values.
This is a very good thing. Bible prophesy actually talks about this in the end days. More and more you will KNOW who you are dealing with.

Thank you for offering a specific example of the media reaction I was talking about in post #30.

These pusillanimous twerps ought to spend a moment or two thinking about the incentive system they are building. That is an excellent point. Many Muslims are offended by dogs, among other things. So perhaps some day there will be a law. No dogs are allowed in places were Muslims might be. No dogs in parks, for example.

Drawing a cartoon of Mohammad is not hate speech. Here’s how you get around it. “Drawing Mohammad makes me feel closer to Allah”

The Press will always take the most short-sighted, frightened, and simple answer for any situation.
Ironically, this mirrors the Liberal stance.
Makes you think.

"The photograph is clean and purified, the reliquary or shrine in which he clearly believes that the word about the body can be stored and spread."
And the reviewer is talking about a crucifix in a jar of urine. You can't make this stuff up - how do you satirize it?
To: realcleanguy
One good thing that will come from this kerfuffle is that people will begin to think more about what freedom of speech means and why it is important.
Martha MacCallum and Bill O'Reilly will certainly notice some blowback hopefully pay a little more attention. On second thought...probably not.

Theres a fine line to be drawn between making a political statement and inciting someone to start breaking out the rifles and taking shots. And there is a very broad and distinct line between being a journalist and being a biased hack. But the hacks still cling to the illusion that they are part of the "press".
