Qualifying, high academic achieving high school students are offered the opportunity for dual enrollment, and may attend PSC associate level courses while still in grades 10-12, at no cost to themselves.
It is not a substitute for high school, and the program is extremely competitive.
But every single associate level course passed during dual enrollment gives those advanced students one less useless square/time/money filler, in their pursuit of a higher degree.

Having known many dual-enrolled students, both at PSC and HCC, I have to wonder why you would falsely claim they “did not pay attention in K through 12”.

My reference was not about the “Qualifying....” high school students attending the school but those who are already enrolled and doing sub par work because they were not prepared. What percentage of the students are “dual enrolled?”
