"to knock him off the stage if he really exists." Whereupon the Airborne Ranger attending school on the G.I. Bill comes striding over and knocks the little wuss out cold. Regaining conscience, the prof glares up and yells at the troop:
"Why did you DO that?" The reply?

This is why tenure should be out at colleges. This is why tenure should be out at all schools! How awesome to have a job and be absolutely incompetent and be rewarded for it!

Agreed. I hope this student gets a lot of support. If this school wants to stand behind this heathen, they need to get sued to the nth degree.

You're right.
Tenure had a place in a different American. Today the types of people teaching college don't deserve tenure anymore than a fry cook at McDonalds 'deserves' tenure...
