I'm askin' around as I find this very disappointing. We have been hunting for property to spend the rest of our lives on in Idaho and this news on top of the animosity in CDA against Christian pastors and bakers is pushing us in another direction.

My father’s family was from Idaho. Beautiful place. A few years ago when I visited Boise, I was struck by two things. Flying in at night as we approached the airport, there were no lights until right before touchdown. It was like we were flying over North Korea. Secondly, the number one “minority” appeared to be Basques.
Don’t know if Idahoans will be quite as welcoming as Minnesotans.
Same here, I, too, was thinking of moving to Idaho.
This is just a nightmare; it’s all being done against the wishes of Americans. Our country is being destroyed and we are rapidly running out of places to flee to.

Good and bad news. The Muslims are coming, its deliberate attempt to dilute the white Christian and Mormon populations by the Imam in the white house. However 2000? There are 2000 concealed carry holders in my local neighborhood alone and 80%+ of Idahoans are armed. We can hold them off but this is going on in every red state in the country and many dont have the favorable gun laws Idaho has. Getting radical here is not advisable.

This appears to be a bit overblown. What I've been able to find out indicates that it's several hundred Syrian refugees brought in under the auspices of an existing College of Southern Idaho program. The UN is said to be quite cranky at how few Syrian refugees the United States has taken in generally and 0bama is perfectly willing to punish his political opponents by throwing this little stinkbomb into their backyards.
The sitting mayor of Boise is a drooling moron who pieces together platitudes from buzzwords he couldn't define with the help of a schoolmarm and an online dictionary, and who makes Patty Murray look like a Rhodes scholar. IMHO.
