My mother had nothing I 1940. Used newspaper for shoes. Schools spent 50 cents on students, lol, but she managed to become a nurse. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN without spending 20 thousands dollars a year oh her.
oh yeah, and after her abusive Mafioso father left and they were on welfare, the men use to come around and count the silverware!!!! one set for each person. And they got MAD when there was an extra box of cereal! That’s welfare.
