Guns: The Difference Between Garland And Paris
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 5-3-2015 | AWR Hawkins

Posted on 05/04/2015 6:53:08 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

When armed terrorists attacked Charlie Hebdo headquarters over Muhammad cartoons on January 7, unarmed police officers were forced to flee for their lives. When armed men attacked people gathered in Garland, Texas, on May 3 over Prophet Muhammad cartoons, armed police cut them down — and the Daily Mail reported that the body of one was left lying the street while police searched for explosives.

The difference between Garland and Paris can be summed up in one word: guns.

(snip) BBC reported the Paris gunmen killed 12 in their attack on Charlie Hebdo headquarters; that number includes 8 Charlie Hebdo “eight journalists, two police officers, a caretaker and a visitor.”

Moreover, the terrorists were able to continue their attack at different points in and around the city for the next 48 hours.

(SNIP)

Fast forward to Garland, Texas on Sunday, where approximately 75 attendees gathered in the Curtis Culwell Center to attend a contest for the best cartoon of Muhammad................... There was no prolonged, two-day pursuit of attackers, nor were there unarmed police officers dodging bullets on their bicycles. But there were plenty of guns in the hands of good guys who were keeping watch over the cartoon contest and who were charged with stopping any bad guys with guns who might show up.

Don't mess with Texas.

IF the event is even being able to be held at New York city (or any Libs control territories), the outcome won't be as 'neat'.

(more excerpt)

On January 19, Breitbart News reported that French police were demanding more guns as well as guns that were more powerful. The Charlie Hebdo attack was very lopsided — in favor of the terrorists — because of policing and arms policies, and had revealed a very important point: Gun control was not working.

Ironic how the libs are bashing this event in Garland yet were posting “Je Suis Charlie” all over the internet after the attack on Charlie Hebdo.

Guns by themselves are not the difference. The flics (French cops) guarding Charlie were armed, but they were basicly pussies who let themselves be disarmed and killed.

Thank God that the Texas jihadists never got close to the actual exhibit, but if they had, I think they would have received a proper Texas welcome - with or without firearms.

“Its ironic that bs are bashing this event in Garland yet were posting “Je Suis Charlie” all over the internet after the attack on Charlie Hebdo.”

Inexplicable behavior such as you described is just further evidence that liberalism is a mental illness.

Perhaps our answer should be “Je Suis Garland” and watch their heads pop.

In January 17,2015, and the same public school center, there was a “Stand with the Prophet” rally by Muslims, a pro-Shariah law event, by supporters Al-Qaida and Isis organized by one of the terrorists implicate in the bombing of the garage of the NY World Trade Center in 2003. I wonder if those who try to blame the organizers of the “First Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest,” for the Muslim terrorist attack would have justified if some patriotic American had irrupted in Muslim rally on January 2015 and made a massacre of Islamic terrorists.

Too bad it wasn’t a CCW holder that had foiled this act of terrorism

The flics (French cops) guarding Charlie were armed, but they were basicly pussies who let themselves be disarmed and killed.

The security guard at the offices was armed, but was shot before he could draw his weapon. The policeman who arrived on the scene was a bicycle-mountedMetropolitan, unarmed French police who are mostly responsible for traffic, but who nevertheless responded to hearing the shots fired. Neither was disarmed before they were murdered.

No reports of Boston type manhunt with wild gun battles, bullets flying where they’re not supposed to be, etc etc, the officer who shot the two gunmen dead (reportedly wearing some kind of body protective gear) did his/her job. That’s as best as you can ask for.

We can always ask for more :-)

Ya though, good shooting on part of the officer involved.
