‘Black Americans aren’t “colored.”’

Neither are they ‘black’. They’re negroes. A race, like caucasians.

Not really. Almost all of them are mixed race.

By the way, Triple E - can you complete the name of this organization?

'National Association for the Advancement of C________ People'

And while you are at it, can you give the original name for what is now called the 'Christian Methodist Episcopal' denomination? Hint, the 'C' used to stand for something else.

Very good. I read down to see if anyone pointed to the NAACP as a counter to his presumed intellectual skill in race baiting. Stormfront comment was BS in my opinion.

Well, you have a valid point. American negroes have interbred significantly.
But there’s a large mongolian mix in American caucasians too.
Hybridization is just a characteristic of most American races.

I have called myself a ‘colored gal’ on FR quite a few times.

I am an academic. Many colleges use the term ‘people of color’ as a handy reference to the diversity that is the American campus these days. So, if I am a person of color, am I not a ‘colored gal.’ : ) I like to think it drives the libs nuts. Feminists, too.

I do my part.
