Yep. In those school buses we were packed in like sardines in a can. And have been thrown around many times in a metro bus. Even on a sideways seat. Holding a bag on your lap is the same effect as being hand cuffed. You cannot brace from a quick stop or turn. Why don’t you take your campaign to the subways where it can really do some good. Trains have the same problem too. Why just protect criminals ?

Really? both hands free and natural, versus having both hands handcuffed behind your back, are you sure you are thinking clearly?

Not even close. I used busses for many years. On a bus you can grab a handle hold (the seat in front of you) and splay your feet out to maintain balance.

Bus routes for the most part are designed to for easy driving, and drivers don’t take sharp turns at speed nor do they suddenly stop and just as suddenly start.

And yes, if the bus driver is driving erratically they do get yelled at from the passengers and yes people do end up on the floor and do end up suing the city.
