I dispute the idea that the Democrats oppress blacks.

The Democrats give stuff to the blacks they would never get otherwise, and their loyalty in return is perfectly logical.

But Jim, I ask where do the D’crats get the “stuff” to give to the blacks? The “stuff” is money and it is taken from those who work and pay taxes to the government who, in turn, give it to the blacks. It is a “Quid pro Quo”, something for something. The something that the blacks give is, indeed, “perfectly logical.
What the blacks give is loyalty AND the tacit agreement that they will remain dependent on the D’crats. This is an evil bargain when you are plundering money from honest taxpayers to pay for the loyalty. So, for you to not see oppression in this is either turning a blind eye or you are stupid.

This giving you describe is the mechanism of the oppression I’m talking about.

Along with fear and propaganda it’s what keeps blacks on the plantation.
