The admission was made by Barack Hussein Obama's lawyer, the sitting Solicitor General of the United States, Donald Verrilli, Jr., on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, during questioning by Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Samuel Alito, Jr.

Solicitor General Verrilli, using a public office to defend same-sex marriage on behalf of the United States, was asked by Justice Alito if religious institutions could be at risk of losing their tax-exempt status due to their beliefs about Biblical marriage.

Verrilli's reply was, "It's certainly going to be an issue."

Reason # 852 for replacing the income tax with a national retail sales tax.

I agree. I would rather be free from oversight than tax exempt. I would imagine, though, that it would affect the pastor’s salary and benefits. They are able to opt out of social security and have a tax free housing allowance (or parsonage) as a part of their salary. Pretty nice deals if you can get them.

It’s about time churches look to the LORD for their provision. Much has been sacrificed to satisfy government demands.

MALACHI 3:10

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD Almighty, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!

So now we’ll have Politically Correct churches. What about Mosques who refuse to support same-sex marriage?

The goal of hussein/holder/jarrett is nothing less than the genocide of all Christians, with an emphasis on those in the South, America's most pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun, anti-sodomy region. Since 2009, the White Hut has been clearly under the total control of islam, which is merely another term for satan's cult. Proof? There's no evidence of NAMBLA being under such a vicious attack by the regime.

JUSTICE ALITO: Well, in the Bob Jones case,
7 the Court held that a college was not entitled to
8 tax-exempt status if it opposed interracial marriage or
9 interracial dating. So would the same apply to a
10 university or a college if it opposed same-sex marriage?

11 GENERAL VERRILLI: You know, I — I don’t
12 think I can answer that question without knowing more
13 specifics, but it’s certainly going to be an issue.
14 I — I don’t deny that. I don’t deny that, Justice
15 Alito. It is — it is going to be an issue.

Fro mthe transcript also:

“because the question is
18 equal participation in a State conferred status and
19 institution. And that’s why we think of it in equal
20 protection terms.”

So they are saying that gay people deserve to be allowed to marry under the ‘equal protection’ argument (the 14’th amendment no doubt)

You watch how they squirm, twist, and warp logic in an effort to explain why the DEVIANT acts of homosexuality are more deserving of ‘protection’ than the DEVIANT acts of incest, pedophilia, bestiality, necromancy, etc etc etc

[[GENERAL VERRILLI: But what these gay and
10 lesbian couples are doing is laying claim to the promise
11 of the Fourteenth Amendment now. And it is emphatically
12 the duty of this Court, in this case, as it was in
13 Lawrence, to decide what the Fourteenth Amendment
14 requires.]]

IF there is any justice in this world, the Supreme court WILL prove that moral DEVIANCY does NOT deserve ‘equal protection’ as does moral decency- The moral DEVIANT does deserve to have their RIGHTS protected- BUT they do NOT deserve having IMMORAL acts of DEVIANCY rewarded with a privilege reserved for moral unions- IF there is ANY justice left in this world, this whole case will backfire on gays and lesbians and ALL Sexual DEVIANTS by declaring once and for all that morally DEVIANT is NOT guaranteed rights reserved for moral unions- Hopefully, IF there is any justice left, homosexuality WILL BE labeled they way it should be labeled, a morally DEVIANT act in the same league with ALL morally DEVIANT sexual practices

Which should be more concerting to any Christian church—losing tax exempt status or embracing same sex marriage —and losing ones eternal soul?

“Church property will be taxed at “best use” level, thus the chruch will pay the same property tax as if it were a 100 story office building or a sprawling shopping mall, etc. and be forced to sell.”

Never happen except in some of the very liberal areas. Property taxes are a local thing, and local voters won’t permit it.

[[I agree. I would rather be free from oversight than tax exempt.]]

Churches, Christians, conservatives, republicans will never be free from oversight- the govnerment WILL be constantly stepping in and slamming us with some charge- Recinding tax exempt status is a very bad deal- and signals the beginning of increased government oversight, not less-

The reason churches were given tax exempt status In the irst place was because churches do a tremendous amount of good for society- they help keep kids out of trouble, they minister to needy people, they feed the homeless, give shelter, care for the sick, on and on and on it goes- it was actually cheaper for the government to give tax exemptions than it would be for government ot have to take over all those jobs/services the churches provide communities- and because churches helped keep a great deal of kids out of trouble, and out of prisons, where they would become wards of the states and cost states a great deal of money- instead, many kids, thanks to help from churches, are productive tax paying citizens pulling their own weight instead of relying on government handouts-

Everyone looks jealously on churches getting tax exemptions, but they never take into account just how much good churches actually do for society

[[Pretty nice deals if you can get them.]]

Yeah? And you risk your life every day dealing with at risk youths? Caring for aids patients? Always being on call 24/7? Sacrificing your needs for the needs of others? Feeding homeless, clothing the poor? Getting the poor medical help? Having to deal with one drama after another endlessly-

They don’t have it as easy as you make out

Good they should lose the tax exemption and stop having to bow to the government.

To take away tax exempt status from churches just increases the tax burden on church goers. It doesn’t give a whole new untaxed person to tax. It would do nothing to lower taxes for others. All the church goers already pay taxes. To tax their church would essentially raise their taxes since they are the ones who fund the church.

TO ALL!

Just what part of “fundamentally change the United States of America” do you not understand?

Wake-up time should have been at that moment, not 6 years later.

All part of the promise made in 2008.

“Never happen except in some of the very liberal areas.”

California, New York, most of New England for starters. End of the Christian church in the US begins, while the rise of the muslim mosque begins.

No taxation without representation. If the churches are to be taxed, they have a seat at the table in issues of legislation and judicial consideration. They may not be muzzled on pain of losing their tax exempt status.

“California, New York”

Most of the taxing “counties” in California and NY are conservative not liberal. Only the big cities are liberal and they don’t much go to church anyway.
