Most of Idaho is a great place to live and retire...but it depends where you live. Boise area, Sun Valley and Coeur d’Alene in the north are liberal enclaves...the rest of the state is very conservative and normal.
If you are from a state that does not have real winters, you better be prepared...where I live, winter temps in the -20’s are very common and when we first moved here we had temps of -35 for ten days with highs of -17. Makes for long winters, but pretty much a great state.
Often times retirees move to our area and last a couple of years then head for Arizona. The husbands usually love it...hunting, fishing, ice fishing, snow machines, camping etc...while the sweet wife is a three-hour drive to the nearest mall or airport with commercial flights.
You have to be cut out for living here.
Plus, SF and Boston actually have a taxi cab industry...which is lacking in most of Idaho.
A psychopaths dream is to hurt as many people as possible without getting caught.
Here we have a prime example of legally destroying an entire country without
being held responsible.
When Americans stand up to those using the Constitution as a suicide pact
this will end. But then with todays socialist educational system, that's in doubt.
