The foundations of civilization are under heavy attack, at least in the virtual world of the MSM and cyberspace.

I don’t know how much effect this is having in the “real world.”

Tonight I was at a band rehearsal. All adults, grown-ups. There are two African Americans in the band. I don’t know either of them, but I’ve been playing in the band with them for almost a year (there are about 50 people in the band).

One of the songs we are playing is an arrangement of several civil-war era songs. I was uncomfortable playing it tonight. I was uncomfortable because I didn’t know if it was offensive to the A-A musicians. This took all the enjoyment out of it for me. I wanted to leave, which I’ve never felt like before.

As I said, I don’t know how this full frontal assault on the truth is going in the “real world.” I can’t tell. I do know this though. If the forces that are trying to undermine the mechanisms that society has developed for discovering and propagating the truth (like science and the justice system) we are in for a time of Biblical-scale violence and destruction.
