Hundreds of protestors took to the streets of City Heights, uniting in solidarity for Freddie Gray.
Speakers warmed up the crowd just after 6 p.m. Tuesday night at the City Heights Urban Village Park.
They called for organized protests to bring awareness to their issues including justice for Gray and to abolish police brutality.
A march followed with protestors hands up in the air, chanting, We will fight for Freddie Gray, all day, all night!
Several streets and intersections were blocked off by police to ensure the safety of the protestors.
The entrances to the I-15 freeway off University were also blocked off with patrol cars and officers dressed in riot gear.
Police followed the crowd on bicycles, and those on motorcycles drove ahead to ensure streets were blocked off ahead of the march.
No arrests were made as the protest was peaceful. The rally ended just before 10 p.m.
I have been wondering, what was the guy arrested for in the first place?
I don’t know. One guy said they chased him for a mile before his arrest, but I don’t know.
Isn’t the elephant in the room “Who is organizing all this?”. These aren’t just spontaneous. Most people in that section of San Diego couldn’t find Baltimore on a map.
Who is organizing all this?
Obama has sleeper cells all over, just waiting for a chance to activate and agitate.
What I fear now is that the plan has it's initial success, the indictment of six cops. Now, the pattern will be repeated as long as it is successful.
The desired outcome appears to be a separate justice system for blacks. One where they can run or evade with immunity even if they are caught in the act. No cop in their right mind would jeopardize their career or freedom intervening in a situation where the government, the media and even public opinion automatically assumes they are in the wrong.
the pattern will be repeated as long as it is successful.
I disagree about the “idiots” comment; this was well planed. Your comment above indicates that. Yes, as long as it works it will continue. Obama was a community agitator, in that field power is gained through chaos.
This is why I have been advocating using the left’s tactics on them. They will not stop until the tactic is no longer useful. We would, however, need a shadow group to use their tactics. They all scream like stuck pigs when we use their tactics. When I “protested the protesters” at Walker’s “budget rally” when he was Milw Co Exec the unbelieving and blank looks I got were priceless. The best line they were able to come up with was “I pay taxes too so that means I’m paying my own salary.” They really didn’t know how to handle being on the other end.
Good job. Keep irritating ‘em.
